The Confluence of the French Broad River sits at our doorsteps, where the North and West Fork merge. Within the first 8 miles, other tributaries such as the East and Middle fork also join this Historic river. The French Broad is the 3rd oldest river in the world, and flows through the town of Rosman and lower Transylvania County on its journey to Douglas Lake in Tennessee. The 1st ten miles of the French Broad is designated general trout waters. Once you get past the tenth mile marker the river turns more into small-mouth and musky territory.
