Start your summer evenings off with a 2-hour paddle trip down the French Broad River and end at Oskar Blues Brewery for a cold craft beer, the Chubwagon Food Truck, and more!

This dusk paddle is a great way to experience the wildlife, sounds, and sights of the Historic French Broad River.

Headwaters Outfitters will meet you at Oskar Blues Brewery at 4:30 pm with your reserved boats, life-jackets, and paddles. Aboard our bus for a quick 2-minute shuttle to the Pisgah Forest Access; where our staff will assist you in getting geared up for your paddle. After our brief safety orientation, you will be on your way down river paddling 5 miles ending at the Penrose Access. A quick 10 minute shuttle will take you back to Oskar Blues and the taproom is open till 10:00 pm. Reservations Required.
