The Forks of the River, a local name for our location, is a taproom that not only celebrates the birthplace of the French Broad River but also the quality of water we all enjoy. We dedicate 12 taps to our breweries within our watershed that makes beer from these pristine mountain waters. We are here because of the water and so is the beer.

Food Trucks
We work with some amazing locally owned and operated food trucks throughout the year. They are each independent from the Taproom and Headwaters, therefor schedules and line-ups can change daily. We will do our best to post a weekly schedule on our social media accounts. Thank you for understanding and for supporting small local businesses.

Our first SIPS & SEMINARS with @brevardbrewingco is coming up next Thursday!
Join us Thursday, May 28th at 6pm in downtown Brevard — and get up close with the Southern Appalachian brook trout, NC’s only native trout species.
We’re teaming up with the @pisgahtu to bring a living aquarium display to the shop, inspired by the Trout in the Classroom programs running in schools across our region. It’s free, it’s fascinating, and it just might change how you see our local watersheds.
Whether you cast a fly rod or just love these mountains, come out and learn why this little fish is such a big deal.
