Guided Llama Hiking 8/17/26

Join hiking guide Lydia Dann and Mark English of Llama Caddy for a unique guided hiking experience through the beautiful waterfalls of DuPont State Forest. These special spring hikes combine scenic trails, friendly pack llamas, and a relaxed group adventure that’s perfect for families and nature lovers.
Our guided hike follows the High Falls and Triple Falls Loop in DuPont, one of the most iconic waterfall routes in the area. Llamas will accompany the group along the trail, and participants may have the opportunity to walk alongside them during the hike.
Trip Details
- Location: DuPont State Forest – High Falls & Triple Falls Loop (visitor center)
- Meeting Time: 9:30 AM at the trailhead
- Duration: Approximately 2 hours
- Cost: $75 per person
- Ages: 5 years and older
- Group Size: Minimum 6 participants / Maximum 16 participants
- Llama Sharing: If the trip reaches capacity, participants may share llamas during the hike
Important Notes
- Registration is required in advance.
- No dogs allowed for the safety of the llamas.
- For the safety and comfort of the llamas, trips are only offered on weekdays due to heavy weekend trail traffic on public lands.
- Transportation/shuttle service may be available on a case-by-case basis for an additional fee.
Refund Policy
- Cancellations must be made at least 7 days in advance to receive a refund.
- If the trip is canceled by the guides, participants will receive a full refund.
- A minimum of 6 participants is required for the trip to run. We will communicate closely with registered guests regarding trip confirmation.
