Enjoy a relaxed 2-hour paddle on the Historic French Broad River as Headwaters Outfitters provides boats, life jackets, paddles, and staff support. After a quick shuttle to the Pisgah Forest access and a brief safety orientation, glide five miles downstream through scenic river wildlife and sounds, finishing at Oskar Blues Brewery where you can enjoy craft beer, food from the Chubwagon Food Truck, and a lively atmosphere.

Itinerary

Check-in details
Meet at Oskar Blues Brewery, NC where Headwaters Outfitters will meet you with your reserved boats; reservations are required. Staff will load a short bus shuttle to the Pisgah Forest access and return you to Oskar Blues after the paddle.

Reservations required. Staff will provide a brief safety orientation before launching. Route covers approximately five river miles and may be subject to change due to river conditions.
Cancellations
As a small family owned and operated business, we require reservations with full payment at time of booking. Walk-ins and day of reservations are not guaranteed. River Trips depart rain or shine. If we have to cancel in case of Thunder/Lightening, Air/Water Temps, High Winds, or High Water Levels, then we will provide a full refund. For advanced notice cancellations we are willing to work with you the best we can. If you cancel 7 days before your trip, we will provide a full refund. If you cancel 1-6 days prior to trip, we will provide a 50% refund or a 100% credit to use for another time (no expiration). For day of reservation trips, if you are a NO CALL or NO SHOW, there is no refund.
