Explore fall colors from the banks of the 3rd oldest river in the world, with a 2-hour paddle trip down the French Broad and end at Oskar Blues Brewery for a cold craft beer, the Chubwagon Food Truck, and more! (drinks not included in cost).

This morning paddle, is a great way to experience the wildlife, sounds and sights of the Historic French Broad River.

Headwaters Outfitters will meet you at Oskar Blues Brewery at 9:30 am with your boats, life-jackets, and paddles. A quick 2-minute shuttle to the Pisgah Forest Access, where our staff will assist you in getting geared up for your paddle. After our safety orientation, you will be on your way. End your paddle at Penrose Access. A quick 10-15 minute shuttle, will take you back to Oskar Blues and the taproom is open till 10:00 pm. Drink Responsibly! Reservations Required!
